Description

Project consists of furnishing A-E services for ID/IQ contract for Type A, B and C services for construction projects in Montgomery and Dothan, Alabama. All orders against this contract will not exceed a cumulative amount of $1.5M. Each order will not exc eed $300,000. Orders may be issued for one year and extended four years at Government's option. Significant Evaluation Criteria in descending order of importance are: 1)Professional Qualifications (Architectural, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Structural and Environmental/Geo-Technical Engineering); 2) Specialized experience; 3) Capacity to accomplish work; 4) Past performance; 5) Location of A-E (servicing offices of lead A-E firm and sub consultants/firms); 6) Volume of DoD and other Federal Government w ork awarded. Architect-Engineering firms wishing to be considered must submit a SF254, SF255 and a list of pervious work accomplished for the Air National Guard (ANG) in the past five years to the Base Civil Engineer, C/O 2LT William Smith, 4600 Richardson Road, Montgo mery, AL 36108-4829. Telephone number is 334-394-7170. All responses must be received within 30 days of this publication in order to be considered. No other general notification to firms under consideration for this project is made and no further action is required. If a current (less than one year old) SF 254 has been submitted, a letter stating so should be submitted within the above time frame. However, a current SF255 and list of previous ANG work is still required. Approximate design dates are: s tart March 02, complete March 03 or 04 or 05 or 06. This is not a request for a proposal. Funds are not presently available for this contract action. Personal visits for the purpose of discussing this work are discouraged, but interviews by the selectio n committee will be done as part of the final selection process for this contract.
