- 1. The Roswell Job Corps Center is soliciting bids for the position of Mental Health Consultant. Services will include, but are not limited to: providing training to center staff on mental health issues; direct services to students on and off center; advising the Center Director and health services staff in all mental health matters; and providing "emergency" treatment or telephonic advice. The Mental Health Consultant must be licensed to practice in New Mexico, and shall provide a copy of such license with their bids. it is further required that the Mental Health Consultant be a provider for Title 19. Any renewals or upgrades of license must be provided to the Center within 30 days of the occurrence. The bid will be for 2 years with 3 option years at the Center Director's discretion. Increases in price will be predicated on directrions received from the National Office of Job Corps. Bids should be based on eight (8) hours per week. The period of performance will begin on December 1, 2001. Bids must be received at the center on or before November 15, 2001. Bids will be opened at 3:30 pm on November 25, 2001, and the successful bidder will be notified on or before December 4, 2001. The successful bidder will be chosen based on their ability to give the center the best overall care and no on price alone. CITE: W-207 SN50T0K8 2. The Roswell Job Corps Center is soliciting bids for the position of Center Physician. Services will include, but are not limited to: physical examinations of new students; treatment of sick call cases; treatment and/or consultation of emergency accidental situations; provisions for, or the arrangement of, necessary immunizations as needed; referrals for specialist and institutional care; continuing care of hospitalized students; oversight of the Center's Family Planning Program; and provisions for 24 hour emergency coverage. The health service provider must be licensed to practice medicine in New Mexico, and must be a provider under Title 19. A copy of the license must be included with the bid.
