Description

The NRC intends to enter into a sole source purchase order with Fluent, Inc., to renew the annual software maintenance fee, network license, and four process parallel license for their Fluent and Fluent/UNS Software which is currently being used for a computational fluid dynamic (CFD) code and support from Fluent, Inc. The period of performance is for one year. The procurement will be conducted using other than full and open competition in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(2)(b). There are no substitutes for the FLUENT code because it is proprietary and sold exclusively by Fluent, Inc. This is a commercial item. Interested respondents must submit a written capability statement including technical information sufficient to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet this requirement, by close of business November 16, 2001, to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Division of Contracts and Property Management, Mail Stop T-7I2, ATTN: Elinor Cunningham, Ref.
