Description

The VA VISN 22 Network Business Center intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 12) sole source contract with Dictaphone Corporation under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This procurement is for maintenance and repair, including all parts, of Dictaphone Dictate Station hardware and software located at the VA San Diego Healthcare System, 3350 La Jolla Village Dr., San Diego, CA. The contract effective period shall be for one year. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting their request in writing with complete name, address, telephone and fax numbers, and a point of contact. The solicitation will be issued on or about November 9, 2001. The Government will consider all proposals received by 4:00 p.m., November 26, 2001. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
