Description
The upcoming solicitation for this project will be Web Only. This means that plans and specifications will be issued electronically via the Seattle District website. No Compact Discs will be mailed to registered planholders, however, prospective offerors must register at: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct to be notified via e-mail of changes and/or amendments to the solicitation. No phone or fax requests accepted. 1. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District, is seeking sources to construct fourteen (14) standard design, earth-mound, oval arch munitions storage igloos, ammunition holding area, ammunition inspection facility, Intrusion Detection System with central monitor panel in the administration facility and control panel at the Military Police Station. Igloos may be either cast-in-place concrete or precast, or a combination thereof. Work also includes lightning protection, security lights and flood light. Supporting facilities include access road, all utilities and information systems, site improvements, and security fencing. The Plans and Specifications should be available on the WEB for viewing and downloading on or about 19 November 2001. Est imated dollar value is in the range of $10 million to $25 million and the completion period is 450 calendar days. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code has been replaced by the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code. The N AICS code for this project is 23331, which is matched to SIC Code 1541. Project is open to both large and small business. If you are a large business and your bid or proposal will exceed $1 million, you will be required to submit a subcontracting plan w ith goals for small, HUBZONE, small disadvantaged, small woman-owned, and small veteran-owned concerns. For the purposes of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $27.5 million.
