Description

Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS), in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, intends to procure Tube & Clamp Staging Materials (scaffolding) in accordance with specifications that will be provided in the RFQ. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity supply type contract. It will include the ability to either purchase or rent the staging materials. The period of performance for the Base Year is date of award through 1-year thereafter. Up to four 1-year option periods may be included. FOB Destination at PSNS Bremerton WA. This procurement action is unrestricted, and will be conducted using FAR Parts 12 and 13, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Simplified Acquisition Procedures, respectively. It is estimated that the RFQ will be issued on or about 13 Nov 2001, with a 15-day closing. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link "www.neco.navy.mil". All offerors wishing to submit an quote are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website (WinZIP is required) and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the RFQ. This office will not maintain a solicitation mailing list. Paper copies of the RFQ and/or amendments will not be mailed. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote nonresponsive and result in rejection. No telephone requests for the RFQ will be accepted. An email request to "julie_a_peterson@puget.fisc.navy.mil" will be accepted in the event that an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. All responsible sources may submit an offer.
