Description

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to NetFusion Incorporated, 113 N. Washington Street, Suite 363, Rockville, MD 20805. Distributed Capacity Management, within IRS is tasked with the responsibility of providing capacity studies and system performance evaluations for all IRS distributed systems. The Section is currently using the existing Athene Software tools to perform the system capacity and system performance study for all Tier II systems. Continued maintenance service is necessary to carry out this mission without interruption or system down time. The Athene/UNIXZ comprehensive performance management product covers the entire spectrum of data collection, data warehousing performance alerting, performance analysis, modeling, capacity planning, and detailed long term statistical analysis. The following maintenance is required: Service for Athene Control (2), Athene Sentinel (1), Athene Explorers (6), Athene Analyst (6), Athene Planner (6), Athene Auto Reporter (2), Athene Trend (1), Athene CustomeDB (1), Athene Acquires (36), and Acquired Pro-rated at 4 months (28). No award will be made on the basis of any quotations/proposals or other information received in response to this notice since this is a notification of intent to acquire and not a request for proposals.
