The Bureau of the Census intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures (under FAR 13.5) to Ascom Hasler Mailing System, 19 Forest Pardway, Shelton, CT 06484 for maintenance on the following equipment for Fiscal Year 2002: 14 ea. Model 335 AGR/HASN for HQ/RO; 13 ea. Mailing Machine Model 2201/AS4 (HQ/RCC's); 27 ea. Mailing Machine AMS-24 AGR (MMS) for RO, HQ, RCC's and FTD; 14 ea. Scales AH-100 I/O AGR (HQ/RO); 13 ea. Scales-AHS-30 I/O AGR (FTD, RCC's) and 27 ea. Modems-Modem AGR (HQ/RO, RCC's and FTD). The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotations.
