Description

The Naval Oceanographic Office intends to solicit and award, on an other than full and open competitive (sole source) basis, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, a purchase order to Sonatech, Inc., Santa Barbara. CA. The solicitation is SIC 3812, Search Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical and Nautical Systems, Instruments, and Equipment. Size stand ard of 750 employees. The purchase order type will be firm fixed priced. The requirement is for the testing, evaluation, a nd repair of 35 acoustic release/transponders and 2 transducers. Each transducer will be fully compatible with the Sonatech NS-11 transceiver and the Sonatech NT-044 release/transponder.
