Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an Other Than Full and Open Competition basis from the University of North Carolina, Department of Geological Sciences, Campus #3315, Chapel Hill, NC 27599-3315, 1 year of Software Maintenance which includes documentation and necessary upgrades; DISCO processing package to include but not limited to Programs JPED, FPFIT and GEOTOUCH; the contractor shall also provide and maintain software to allow data conversion from nanometrics format to UW format. The sole source is based on the University of North Carolina being the sole developer of the software with the knowledge and expertise to provide upgrades. Responsible firm?s believing they can provide the above, should submit a written response to the Contracting Officer on or before 13 Nov 01, providing detailed information, clearly showing their ability to do so without causing programmatic hardship to the program.
