Description

This solicitation is hereby amended to set aside the procurement for Native American Indian/Alaska Native owned firms under the "Buy Indian Act," 25 U.S.C. 47, include Section 7(b) of P.L. 93-638 (25 U.S.C. 450e), which requires that preference opportunties in employment and training be given to Native American Indian/Alaaskan Native individuals and that preference in award of subcontracts be given to Native American Indian/Alaskan Native economic enterprises. Native American Idnian firms quoting under this Act must self-certify that they are eligible under the "Buy Indian Act." Qualifying Indian-owned firms shall incur 50% of all contract performance utilizing in-house personnel. The solicitation package will be distributed to companies requesting a copy in writing, on or about November 19, 2001. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer will be the best value for the Government.
