Description

The Social Security Administration has a requirement for preventive and remedial maintenance and emergency repair service for a Parallel Redundant 300 KVA Static Type Uninterruptable Power Source System (UPS) System complete with batteries, water cooled load bank and other peripheral equipment. Service shall be performed on-site at the Frank Hagel Federal Building, Social Security Administration, 1221 Nevin Avenue, Richmond, CA. The contractor shall provide all necessary maintenance labor, documentation, repair parts, maintenance supplies, tools, testing equipment, transportation and other related services to maintain the equipment in excellent operating condition. The Emergency Repair Service requires a mandatory 2-hour response time. The period of performance for the base period shall be one year from the date of award with provisions for four 1-year option periods, if exercised. The solicitation is scheduled for release on or about November 29, 2001, with proposals due approximately 30 days later. This requirement is a 100% small business set aside. Proposals received from other than a small business will be deemed unacceptable and will be given no further consideration. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted.
