Description

The Bureau of the Census intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures (under FAR 13.5) to Statistics Canada, Rm 1506-N Mail Bldg Tunney's Pasture, Ottawa ON K1A 0T6 to produce a database containing corrections to US international trade marine statistics. The data file will be provided to Census on a monthly basis. The source information used by Statistics Canada to perform this reconciliation and create the data files are only available from the government of Canada. There is no commercial or other source for the statistics. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only, and is not a request for competitive quotations; no solicitation will be issued.
