Description

The Federal Highway Administration Alaska Division Office plans to award a purchase order to the Housman and Associates to hold an annual business meeting in conjunction with the annual American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) meeting. This meeting will be held in Anchorage, Alaska October 2002. The FHWA plans to award a purchase order to Housman and Associates to provide complete coordination with the AASHTO meeting. Housman and Associates has been the conference planner for AASHTO for the past seven years. Because of their experience and expertise in setting up these annual meetings and their knowledge of the FHWA annual meeting, they are the only known company that can provide these services for FHWA. Housman and Associates will set up the FHWA portion of the meeting along with the meeting for AASHTO. Because of the total coordination required, it is imperative that FHWA contract with Housman and Associates. No other known source possesses the knowledge required to successfully combine these two meetings.
