Description

Nashville COE is seeking sources for the following work. Contractors must respond via email and should include the NAICS under which you would perform the work. The work will be performed at Blannahassett Island, NC and will include clearing and grubbing with in the specified area of protection, underwater placemnt of stone toe including a toe trench. The stone will serve as a base that will received placement of borrowed earth fill and harvested plants for bioengineering placement. Placement of erosion control blankets will be required. Work will be performed from land. Estimated quantities are providing a 2000 linear foot gravel haul road, install 630 ton of rock for a toe and workign platform; 1500 tons of soild fill to be placed on the rock toe; ha rvest and plant bioengineering plants over approximated 1000 linear feet. Contractors are asked to provide information concerning their capabilities, business size and any socio-economic status, and NAICS codes. This announcement is for information only -- sources sought.
