Description

This solicitation is for the procurement of part-numbered items manufactured by various companies in the aerospace hardware industry, with the majority of items manufactured by Deutsch(14798)and Eaton(00624), as well as competitive items made in accordance with Government specifications/drawings. All NSNs are available for download under the "Acquisition Downloads" menu item on DSCC Internet Bid Board System(DIBBS) under subject heading "DSCC Corporate Contract Solicitations". Access is directly available by accessing http://dibbs.dscccols.com. Access is also available via the World Wide Web (WWW)at http://dscc.dla.mil/programs/corporate_contracts/cc.asp All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. See Note(s): 9 and 23. This solicitation is an RFP or IFB and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/Rfp on its issue date of 27 Nov 01. FEDERAL,MILITARY and COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. The proposed procurement contains na option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. This is an unrestricted acquisition. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class 4730. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
