Description

This is combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation -- a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is unrestricted. Technology Applications Office intends to award a firm fixed price, IDIQ contract with a minimum dollar amount of $100,000.00 and a maximum dollar amount of NTE $1,000,000.00 over a 24 month period for the following: A Minature Coat-Pocket, high gain, SATCOM UHF Antenna. The technical specifications are as follows: Frequency: 240-318MHz; VSWR: 1.5:1; Polarization: Right Hand Circular; Gain +10.9 dbi, 244-318MHz; Power Handling: 200 Watts CW; Axial Ratio: 3 dB at half power points, Weight: 3.1 lbs, Deployment Time: less than 1 min; Wind Loading: Designed to withstand 80 MPH, Temperature: Operating: -25 to 160 degrees Fahrenheit; Storage 54 to 250 degrees Fahrenheit; Size when Stowed: 4 diameter x 9 long. Offeror must meet or exceed these specifications and provide the technical specifications with their proposal. The initial requirement is for 50 ea, 25 to be delivered within 60 days and an additional 25 to be delivered within 90 days. It is requested that you provide quantity and price breakdowns with your offer. Pricing is to be FOB Destination. Delivery will be CONUS, the initial delivery will be to Ft Bragg, NC. It is intended tha t this award will be made without discussions. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-01. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, 52.2 12-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items and 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. A completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items must be included wi th the offer. The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and includes 52.22-21 Prohibition of Segregated Facilities; 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity (E .O.11246); 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era (38 U.S.C. 4212); 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities (29 U.S.C.793); 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era (38 U.S.C 4212); 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer Central Contractor Registration (31 U.S.C. 3332).
