Description

(i) This is combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The reference number is FU044112900400 and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-01. (iv) This is a total small business set-aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334111 and the small business size standard is $5.0 million. (v) The solicitation can be viewed at http://www.eps.gov/. (vi) The solicitation package includes the Pricing Schedule. (viii) This synopsis/solicitation is for computer hardware for USTRANSCOM at Scott Air Force Base, IL. (viii) The provision at Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (ix) The FAR provision 52-212-2, Evaluation, Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Paragraph (a) is completed as follows: Price (x) A completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items, MUST be submitted with the quote. The provision may be copied from website http://farsite.hill.af.mil/VFFARA.HTM. Quotes WILL NOT be considered without the completed provision. (xi) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xii) The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders, Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clauses at subparagraph (b) (5), (b) (11), (b) (12), (b) (13), (b) (14), (b) (15) and (b) (22) of 52.212-5 are applicable. (xiii) The clause at Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration applies to this acquisition. (xiv) All responsible sources may submit quotation, which shall be considered by the Agency.
