Description

The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL-SSC) intends to negotiate a contract on the basis of Other Than Full and Open Competition IAW 10 USC 2304(c)(1). NRL will negotiate with Hytec, Inc, Los Alamos, NM, for the design, fabrication, material testing, static proof testing, and delivery of one Engineering Model (EM) and two flight Sun Centered Instrument Package (SCIP) Structures. Suitable for qualification and acceptance testing. The qualification and acceptance testing (excluding static load testing) shall be performed at NRL at Government expense. The Contractor shall also perform any necessary SCIP structure refurbishment that may be required after initial random vibration test using instruments simulators. Vendors who feel that they can provide the above services shall fully identify their interest and submit their capabilities to meet the above requirements within 15 days after the publication of this synopsis. Responses received after 15 days or without the required information will be considered to be non-responsive to the synopsis and not be considered. No telephone requests will be accepted in response to this notification. Only written information received directly from requestors will be considered.
