Description

Professional Architectural and Engineering Services to provide all associated disciplines required to offer Civil Engineering consultation, site surveys, P-Line surveys, road, bridge and facility design, material and construction specifications, cost estimates, construction staking, quality assurance construction contract administration, technical bridge inspection (FHWA certified inspector), and sampling and testing of construction materials. All work will be done on a task order basis with a brief description of work and project location. All work will be located within the Idaho Panhandle National Forests, which includes Kootenai, Shoshone, Benewah, Boundary,Bonner Counties, Idaho and Pend Oreille County, Washington. The Government may award multiple Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) five year contracts. Approximate start work date: February, 2002. Minimum orders to be placed $5,000 to a maximum contract amount of $500,000, inclusive of all contracts awarded. THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA WILL BE APPLIED IN EVALUATION OF FIRMS FOR CONTRACT AWARD: 1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; 2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the areas described above; 3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; 4) Past Performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules; 5) Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project; 6) Computer capabilities (specifically current versions of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office with ability to transmit electronically). INTERESTED FIRMS SHALL RESPOND TO THIS AD BY SUBMITTING THE FOLLOWING: Three (3) copies of each of the following Standard Forms(SF): SF-254, Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire, to provide information concerning the firm?s general qualifications; and SF-255, Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire for a Specific Project, to provide more detailed information concerning qualifications for the specific type of work listed herein. These forms are available electronically at: http://www.gsa.gov/forms. FIRMS MUST SUBMIT TO PROVIDE FOR ALL SERVICES REQUIRED. Responses are due by December 10, 2001, 4:30 p.m., and should be sent to: Idaho Panhandle National Forests, 3815 Schreiber Way, Coeur d?Alene, ID 83815. Envelopes containing SF-254 and SF-255 submittals responding to this ad should have the following in the lower left-hand corner of the envelope: RFP R1-04-02-21, Consultation A&E Services, due December 8, 2001.
