Description

This requirement is being issued by GovWorks Procurement Office and Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Div, Point Mugu, CA, under the franchise authority US Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service. GovWorks intends to issue a purchase order in accordance with FAR 13.5, Commercial Item Acquisition. This requirement is set aside for small businesses only. All offerors must be able to qualify under the NAICS code 421690, Other Electronic Parts and Equipment Wholesalers. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6. The following provisions and clauses apply to the acquisition: 1) 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52-212-4, and 52.212-5. Please provide your proposal by e-mail to the Contracting Officer, Linda Butler, linda.butler@mms.gov, by COB Monday, Nov 19, 2001 to be considered for award. Award will be made based on the lowest price, technically acceptable offer. The requirement is for two items: PN T212C106K075DW, Capacitor, Solid Tantalum, 75-volt, manufactured by Kemet, 1 each; and PN EPF10K50EQ1240-2 FLEX 10KE, manufactured by Altera, 4 each. Price quoted is to be firm-fixed-price with shipping and handling included but no state sales or use tax. No solicitation documents exist for this requirement. Government has an urgent requirement for delivery of these components by December 1, 2001, but will consider alternative delivery schedules.
