- Description
- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, anticipates acquiring by negotiation, technical and analytical services with respect to testing and evaluation. The Statement of Work will cover planning, designing, developing, observing, collecting data, analyzing, evaluating, and reporting results of land based and at-sea tests and exercises of Sonar Systems, Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Combat Systems and 21st Century Programs. This will include fabricating special test equipment and developing/performing Installation Check-outs(INCO). The resulting contract will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type with Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Term and Completion provisions. The period of performance will be five years from date of contract award. The total estimated level of effort is 82,400 man-hours. This is a follow-on effort to contract N66604-97-D-0041 with Analysis & Technology, Inc. Award will be made on the basis of Best Value to the government. The evaluation factors will be Personnel, Past Performance and Cost. The government reserves the right to make multiple awards if determined to be in the best interests of the government. Key Labor Categories are as follows: Program Manager, 4,500 hours; Electrical/Electronics Engineer III, 3,000 hours; Electrical/Electronics Technician VI, 6,400 hours; and Systems Engineer III, 5,500 hours. Service Contract Act applies and Wage Determinations for RI will be obtained. Estimated release date is 12/5/01. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
