- Services for the Replacement and/or Repair of C-5 A Torque Shelf Panels, for a period of Two years (One year basic period w/a One year option period). Best estimated quantity (BEQ): 114 each for the two year period. Government furnished drawings, specifications, and special tooling are not available. The approximate RFP issue date is 04 DEC 01, with a response date of 04 JAN 02. Sole source to: Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, Marietta, GA. Cage code: 98897. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1), Justification: Supplies or Services required are available only from one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of Supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources solicited may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. Only written or faxed responses received directly from the requestor are acceptable. No telephone requests. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, regarding this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contacting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
