Description

The Fleet Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire through a full and open competition the services described below following the procedures outlined in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. It is intended to acquire the laundering and rental of contractor owned shop towels as well as the laundering of government owned shop towels. The services include pick-up, laundering, and drop-off. The contractor must be licensed by the Environmental Protection Agency to launder shop towels that may contain oils, grease, hydraulic fluid, and paint. The regions under the requirement include the northeast, east, southeast, central, and south central regions of the United States. The requirement is for use by all government activities including Reserve Officer Training Centers at colleges and universities. Proposals submitted may include all of the regions under one contract or contain proposals for separate regional contracts. It is expected to award a Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a base period of one year and four one-year options. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 812332. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia. The solicitation may require the submission of cost/price and technical proposals.
