Description

The Government intends to solicit only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Black Box Network Services -- San Antonio, 1550 N.E. Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 78209 for the turnkey RF control system integrating the Remote Robot Vehicle Transmission Sy stem into the Micorwave Data Acquisition Network. This system shall maintain a high fidelity controlling signal, provide a compatible controlling communications protocol over an ATM communication backbone and provide a analog to digital and digital to ana log conversaion as required over the network. The contractor shall provide installation, setup, technical guidance, support and operational/troubleshooting training. Delivery and installation shall be FOB Destination not later than 3 December 2001. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Interested firms have 15 days from the publication of this synopsis to identify their capabilities to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is NOT a request f or quotes. Qualification and capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after the fifteen days or without the required information will be consider ed nonresponsive to the synopsis. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis is soley within the discretion of the Government.
