Description

Professional Architectural/Engineering services are required for an Indefinite Delivery Contract for the Alaska National Guard. Architect/Engineer will furnish all professional services, plant, labor, equipment, materials and travel required to complete a ll required design work. Services may include producing complete design bid documents (plans and specifications), design build documents, and a final detailed cost estimate for each project. Projects may include Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environment al, Structural, Architectural design and Planning Studies. When necessary to obtain data essential to the performance of the design effort, the selected Architectural/Engineer (A/E) firm will conduct field surveys and investigations such as topographical surveys, soil evaluations, chemical and mechanical surveys, investigation and technical studies. The successful firm shall not be eligible to compete for any design contracts for which they have developed the project book and/or statement of work. Evalua tion factors to be reviewed by the pre-selection and final selection boards in order of decreasing importance are: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; (2) Specialized experience and technical compete nce in the type of work required, including, where appropriate, experience in the energy conservation, pollution prevention, waste reduction, and the use of recovered materials; (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; (4) Past performance on contracts with government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work and compliance with performance schedules; (5) Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project; (6) The volume of work awarded by Department of Defense during the previous 12 months. This Indefinite Delivery contract will be awarded for a period of one year with the possibility of four-one year extensions at the option of the government. The total cum ulative dollar value of the delivery orders issued under this Indefinite Delivery contract will not exceed $2,000,000 per year. Delivery Orders issued under this Indefinite Delivery contract will not normally exceed $550,000; however, projects above this amount may be offered at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The minimum amount for this contract will be $2,000. Use of the resulting IDIQ contract shall be available for use by the Alaska Army and Air National Guard at various locations in Alask a at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Firms desiring consideration shall submit an SF254, SF255 and a Related Services Questionnaire. If your firm has submitted a SF254 to this organization in the past year, a new SF254 is not required.
