Description

Service Contract. This is a market survey to locate potential sources to repair and refurbish 90 damaged AN/PRC-127A Radio Sets and accessories. These radios were used recently in a military exercise. The radios are commercial Non-Developmental-Item (NDI) manufactured by RELM Wireless Corporation for the US Army. The government does not have in its possession any manufacturing technical data and no drawings are available. The proposed Service Contract is for the repair of these 90 AN/PRC-127A Radios only. The government will not provide sample models. The following list is a breakdown of the repair requirements: replace 69 green nylon carry cases, replace, 180 NiCad batteries, replace 51 Battery Chargers, replace 75 antennas, replace all 90 each "AA"alkaline clamshell pack, repair/refurbish and retune the 90 portable transceivers to its frequency requirements, replace all 90 microphones and repack all 90 AN/PRC-127A Radio Sets as new.
