Description

The work of this contract consists of all labor, supplies, tools, equipment and materials to remove 180 hazaradiys trees and trim hazardous branches from 529 trees in various locations throughout Valley Forge National Historical Park. Tree diameters vary from 1 foot to 4 feet with an average of 2 feet. Tree heights vary from 50 feet to 100 feet with an average of 70 feet. Dead or dying trees marked for removal will be taken down and removed from the Park. A location within the Park where tree trunks may be deposited will be determined by the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR). Work must be completed within one hundred twenty (120) days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. All work will be performed under a single contract.
