2nd Annual DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE (DOD) AUTOMATIC TEST SYSTEM (ATS) Quartz Watch Day The Department of Defense (DOD) Automatic Test System (ATS) Management Board's NxTest Integrated Product Team (IPT) will host a DOD Next Generation ATS Workshop January 22-25, 2002 in Orlando, Florida. The DOD NxTest (IPT) is a group of engineers in lead Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) positions for each military service. The agenda for the meeting is as follows: Jan 22 0800-1200, the Government will provide initial briefings addressing the DOD Electro-Optics (EO) testing requirements/strategies for NxTest and open discussions. Jan 22 1300-1630 and Jan 23, Industry will have the opportunity to provide the DOD NxTest IPT with private feedback on new EO concepts and technologies; Jan 24 0800-1200, the Government will provide a briefing addressing the (DOD) NxTest updates for general ATE use. Jan 24 1300-1630 and Jan 25, Industry will have the opportunity to provide the DOD NxTest IPT with private feedback on new concepts and new technologies for general ATE use. Note: Industry technology briefings will be limited to one-hour closed-door sessions. The Conference will be held 0800 to 1630 daily at the Radisson University Hotel, 1724 Alafaya Trail, Orlando, FL 32826 phone 800-346-9008. Companies, who want to present a technology briefing, send a request with the name of the organization, technology you wish to brief, point of contact, and list of prospective attendees to Mark Hanchey at email HancheyMA@navair.navy.mil. Seating is limited. Organizations wishing to participate in this Conference are limited to three (3) representatives and should respond no later than 15 Dec 2001. No funds shall be expended in this effort.
