Description

The Volpe Center intends to issue, through Simplified Acquisition procedures a competitive request for Quote (RFQ), to provide labor and materials to change all filters, approximately 2,818 and clean 720 induction unit coils and plenums located at the US Department of Transportation, Volpe Center, 55 Broadway, Cambridge, Mass. 02142 on a yearly basis. The objective of this program is to provide the Volpe Center with high efficiency antibacterial filters and clean induction units making for a clean air environment. The contractor will be required to provide all the supplies and labor necessary to complete the services listed in Statement of Work. This procurement will be processed in accordance with FAR Part 13. Small business firms classified under NAICS Code is 541620 that are interested in proposing on this requirement must respond in writing no later than 15 days from the date of this publication. The size standard is no more than $5.0M. The solicitation and any document related to this procurement will be available on the Internet; these documents will be available in text format and reside on a WWW server, which may be accessed using Web browsers. Maximum line of credit is $500,000. In addition, a short-term loan program is available to provide working capital at the prime interest rate.
