Description
The upcoming solicitation for this project will be Web Only. This means that plans and specifications will be issued electronically via the Seattle District website. No Compact Discs will be mailed to registered planholders, however, prospective offerors /bidders must register at: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct to be notified via e-mail of changes and/or amendments to the solicitation. No phone or fax requests accepted. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District, is seeking sources to construct a tactical equipment maintenance facility for the 2/75 Ranger Battalion. Construction of supporting utilities, hardstand, paving, walkways, fire protection, alarm systems, telecommunications, and site improvements is included. The Plans and Specifications should be available on the WEB for viewing and downloading on or about 5 December 2001. Estimated dollar value is in the range of $5 million to $10 million and the completion period is 545 calendar days. The Standard Industri al Classification (SIC) Code has been replaced by the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code. The NAICS code for this project is 23332, which is matched to SIC Code 1541. Project is open to both large and small business. If you are a large business and your bid or proposal will exceed $1 million, you will be required to submit a subcontracting plan with goals for small, HUBZONE, small disadvantaged, small woman-owned, and small veteran-owned concerns. For the purposes of this procure ment, a concern is considered a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $27.5 million.
