Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center at New Orleans, LA is contemplating award on a sole source basis to Invivo Research, Inc for the procurement of one (1) Magitude MRI Patiet Vital Signs Monitoring System. The Invivo Monitor supports a 2.4GHz wireless bi-directional communication between the 3150 MRI suite monitor and the 3155 control monitor. This is an exclusive feature to the Invivo product and would require less modification during installation. This monitoring systen features software upgradeability for ECG gradient suppression. The PCMCIA card software upgradeability allows for easy enchancements when needed or offered. This award will be made on a sole source basis to Invivo Research, Inc because this company has more experience in the MRI monitoring market and can provide service support such as service-loaner pool and biomedical training.
