Description

VAMC, Louisville, KY requires the services of a Behavioral Health Counselor to provide counseling for patients at the FT Knox, Kentucky, VA managed clinic. Hours of work are 8:30AM-5:00PM, Monday-Thursday (approximately 32 hrs/week). Candidate MUST be certified and/or licensed in the state of KY, and may be a psychiatrist, clinical psychologies, MFCC or a psychiatric social worker. This is a proposed one-year contract with the option to renew for 2 one-year periods subject to approval and funding. Contractor must provide a wide range of counseling for young children through adolescents, individuals, couples and/or families. Counseling related to women's issues to include domestic violence, incest, sex abuse, codependency, depression , bipolar disorder, etc.. Contractor will be required to assist with QA and record keeping/management. Assist with counsel crisis situations for children and adults through of EMDR and CISD (MUST BE trained and fully qualified in both areas). VAMC does NOT provide any form of benefit package. This solicitation is restriced to small business only. NAICS code 621330 applies with a dollar threshold of $5.0 mil. All requests for the solicitation package must be in writing. Telephone requests will NOT be accepted. Solicitation package will be available on or about December 6, 2001 and must be returned on or before January 7, 2002, 3:30PM local (EST) time.
