Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head, Md. (NSWCIH) intends to award a Sole Source contract to Eagle Picher Technologies. The procurement consist of the production of 50 SAP 9410 batteries with a stainless steel case to meet critical documentation requirement. The data is to show that the 20 year Navy storage requirement for weapons systems and their components will be met by the final design of the SAP 9410 battery developed under NSWCIH contract N00174-99C-0038. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract. Negotiation being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1).
