Description

The Tongass National Forest is seeking qualified firms to provide professional architectural and engineering services on an as-needed basis for Forest Service owned or managed roads, bridges, culverts, docks, marine access points (LTFs), trails, buildings, campgrounds, recreation facilities, and other facilities within the Tongass National Forest. Work may include conducting surveys and condition inspections; performance of project planning and design services, geotechnical investigations; permit application services; preparation of construction specifications and drawings; performing construction inspection; and providing other miscellaneous construction assistance. The Forest Service anticipates awarding up to three indefinite quantity indefinite delivery contracts each with a one-year performance period with options for two additional years. Firms responding to this notice should be prepared to provide the full range of services. The Scope of Services document is available by written or fax request. Requests should reference R10-05-02-01. Telephone requests will not be honored. Firms, which meet the requirements described in this notice, are invited to submit Standard Forms 254 and 255 to: Contracting Officer, Federal Building, 648 Mission St., Ketchikan, AK 99901, by the close of business (4:30 p.m.) on December 14, 2001. The proposed IDIQ contracts are set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable NAICS code and small business size standard are 541330 and $4 million respectively.
