Description

The Broadcasting Board of Governors, International Broadcasting Bureau intends to negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of 41 USC 253 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the governments needs) with Reuters newswire services on an unrestricted basis seven days per week 24 hours per day consisting of domestic and foreign news services including all associated equipment and software with rights to rebroadcast or otherwise distribute. Reuters newswire service is necessary in meeting the Agency's broadcasting mission. FOB Destination -- Washington, DC. Performance period -- from date of award through September 30, 2002 with four (4) consecutive one-year renewal options. See Numbered Note 22.
