Description

The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement for dry-docking of the M/V Bienville. Solicitation No. DACW29-02-T-0019 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation is issued as a 100% small business set aside. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 336611 and the business size standard is 1000 employees. The General Scope of Work follows: Provide all supervision, labor, facilities, utilities, equipment, tools, and materials required to dry dock the M/V Bienville, a 60'6" long, 22'11" wide, and 7'6" deep welded steel towboat. The light displacement is 126 long tons and the loaded displacement is 151 long tons. Loaded draft is approximately 6'6". Drydock facility is required to be within 100 miles of New Orleans. Specific work to be performed is included as the Scope of Work included in the solicitation.
