Description

NOTICE OF INTENT: The USCG ELC intends to add extended one year warranties to cover the optional features. This warranty will begin immediately following the expiration of the standard warranty on the individual equipment to support the SUNAIR RT9000 HF Transceiver System, under DTCG40-00-D-70002. We currently have a contract with Sunair Electronics, Inc., 3101 S.W. Third Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315-1505. Therefore, it is the Government's intent to negotiate directly with Sunair Electronics for the extended warranties on MD-2700 DSC Controller, MX-9370 Facsimile Modem/Interface, MDM-3001 Collins HFDL Modem, GA-123 FSK Modem, F-9800 Pre/Post Selector and R-2701 DSC Watch Receiver for Option Years B.2 and B.3. These extended warranties will cover the equipment into FY 2003, than the USCG ELC will be equipped to support these items.
