Description
Pierside availability of Training Ship Golden Bear in Vallejo, Ca. Perform ship repair, upgrade, and maintenance for t he annual hull, loadline, and machinery surveys, USCG COI renewal, ship upkeep and cruise preparation. Shipcheck date is 13 December in Vallejo, between 9 AM and 11 AM. All attendees to be present at 9 AM. All bidders shall notify COTR of intentio n to shipcheck. (415) 744-2583. Some CLINs may require attendance during a one or two day sea trial in March 2002, exact dat e to be determined. Tentative date for issuance of the solicitation is December 10, 2001 with bid opening on January 5, 2002. Period of Perform ance is anticipated to be from January 22 through March 15, 2002. Any interested firm may request a copy of the solicitatio n for work on this project and all responsible bidders may submit bids which shall be considered by the agency. Nonnuclear Ship Repair is a designated industry group under The Small Busines s Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Solicitations for acquisitions in any of the four designated industry groups that have an anticipated dollar value greater than the emerging small business reserve amount must not be considered for small bu siness set-asides under Subpart 19.5.
