Description

The North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health Care System, Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Lake City, FL intends to award a contract for Project #573-01-107, REPLACE SPD DUMBWAITERS. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to replace SPD dumbwaiters. The project includes replacement of traction motors, controllers, and cables for dumbwaiters DW-1 and DW-2 as indicated in the drawings and specifications. The estimated cost range is $100,000 to $250,000. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, drawings and schedules of the solicitation, Subject to the Availability of Funds. The NAICS code is 235950 with a size standard of $11.5 million. THIS SOLICITATION IS A TOTAL HUB-ZONE SET-ASIDE. BIDS WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED FROM SMALL BUSINESSES THAT APPEAR ON THE LIST OF QUALIFIED HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS MAINTAINED BY THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, REFERENCE FAR 52.219-3. http://pronet.sba.gov. The issue date is 12/17/01. The pre-bid conference will be held 1/03/02 at 10:00am in Room 11, Bldg. 62. The bid opening is 1/17/02 at 3:00pm in Room 11, Bldg. 62.
