Description

The Program Manager, Combat Equipment and Support Systems Product Group, is seeking qualified sources with manufacturing capabilities sufficient to produce 106,000 bayonet systems within an 18-month period. The bayonet will interface with existing M-16 rifle and M-4 carbine weapons within the Marine Corps inventory. Firms possessing current expertise with comparable products, commercial or military-specific, are invited to submit their qualifications, including the following: Statement of capabilities to accomplish the proposed effort; any commercial pricing schedule; description of business operations, including facilities, number of employees, and revenue over the last two fiscal periods; and past performance with requirements similar to those cited in this notice.
