Description

This Modification is to inlcude Note 22 in solicitation number N00173-02-Q-0012. Naval Research Laboratory intends to purchase, on other than full and open competitive basis, 2 each 45mm aperture, 1053nm permanent magnet rotators (part number 45R1053), and 1 each 12mm aperture, 1053nm permanent magnet rotator (part number 12R1053). Sole Source based on unique characteristics including transmission greater than 97%, an isolation greater than 30dB, and a damage threshold for 5 nanosecond pulses of more than 9J/cm second power, rotator must operate at 1053+ 20 nanometers.
