Description
The Social Security Administration (SSA) is seeking sources that can supply a complete Web Health solution. The vendor solution must be capable of providing ongoing monitoring of SSA's Internet and Intranet site activity to determine the accessibility and responsiveness of SSA Web applications. It must monitor non-intrusively and provide for collection of metrics for reporting and trend analysis. Mandatory Requirements -- General -- The solution must be compatible with SSA Web hardware environments including token ring, Ethernet, firewalls, routers, switches, bridges, load balancers, Web servers, Web application servers, database servers, and mainframes. -- The solution must be compatible with SSA Web Intranet software environments. The solution must be compliant with Section 508 Electronic and Information Technology (EIT) Accessibility Standards as defined in the SSA website http://www.section508.gov -- The solution must be capable of capturing and storing SSA Web accessibility and end-user responsiveness information into a data repository. -- The solution must be capable of displaying SSA Web accessibility and end-user responsiveness information in real time. -- The solution must be capable of producing SSA Web accessibility and end-user responsiveness reports. -- The solution must be capable of SSA-defined selection criteria including data capture by time of day, directory name, URL address, workstation id, and sampling (every other transaction, every 10th record, etc.). -- The solution must be capable of providing detailed data for initial problem resolution analysis and data drilldown capability for root cause analysis. -- The solution must be capable of decomposing SSA Web end-user response time into smaller components. -- The solution must be capable of OLAP data interrogation and reporting. -- The solution must be capable of producing SSA Web accessibility and end-user responsiveness reports in HTML format. -- The solution must be capable of detecting SSA Web accessibility and end-user responsiveness problems and automatically generating appropriate operational alerts to SSA personnel. Mandatory Requirements -- Internet -- The solution must be capable of capturing SSA Internet site responsiveness and accessibility without the use of persistent cookies. Location of Installation Social Security Administration National Computer Center Woodlawn, Maryland All interested contractors should provide detailed information, including product identification, product literature and associated manpower support estimates. All documentation must be labeled LH2002 and submitted to Leslie Hyman at the address listed above by December 18, 2001.
