Description

The Presidio Trust, a Federal government corporation, is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide taxi and/or rental car transportation services in support of the Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) Program at the Presidio of San Francisco. The Presidio is a National Park and a National Historic Landmark. Scope of service may include but is not limited to providing immediate transportation through taxi service or rental car for employees who regularly rideshare to work in The Presidio National Park, from their work site to either their home or other locations, in the event of a medical emergency, family crisis or unplanned overtime. Estimated start date Spring 2002. The Trust anticipates awarding up to three (3) indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts with a base term plus option years. Minimum qualifications include: Ability to pick up passengers in the Presidio of San Francisco (94129 zip code), providing one-way service up to 100 miles (originating from The Presidio of San Francisco), possessing a minimum 5 vehicle fleet size, operating on a net 30 day billing system, ability to accept a voucher for full payment and current insurance coverage. Service Contract Act (U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage rates) applies. Proposals will be evaluated based upon criteria set forth in the Request for Proposals (RFP), including but not limited to: (a) Proposed Price, (b) Responsiveness, and (c) Experience with GRH program.
