Description

100% HUB ZONE SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE (Historically Underutilized Business Zone). Estimated cost range for this project is $500,000 -- $1,000,000. NAICS Code is 234990 (previously SIC 1629) and the small business size standard is $27.5 million. Advertising date is currently scheduled for 2 January 2002 with bid opening date on/about 1 February 2002. Work includes approximately 9000 linear feet of dike construction involving approximately 120,000 cubic yards of earth work within an existing dredged material disposal site , and seeding approximately 20 acres of dike. PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS for this project will be issued on CD-ROM ONLY and will be provided FREE OF CHARGE and should not be returned. Amendments will be made through either a 3.5" Diskette, CD-ROM, or hard paper copy. All bid form, bid bonds, and other documents required for bid submittal shall be provided in paper medium. Electronic bid submittal SHALL NOT BE ALLOWED.
