Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation ; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DAKF06-02-T-0010 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Fede ral Acquisition Circular 2001-01. This acquisition will be unrestricted, NAICS Code/Size Standard: 422920/100. Delivery s hall be made to TRICARE Management Activity Library, 16401 East Centretech Parkway, Aurora, CO 80011-9043 by 31 January 2002, with the following exceptions: The Congressional Quarterly Service which includes the weekly report and CQ Almanac shall be deliv ered to: The Pentagon, Room 1B657, ATTN: Charlotte Tsoucalas, Washington, DC by 31 January 2002. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. No substitutions are authorized. The contractor shall submit an invoice to the office identified in Block 9, SF 1449 , ATTN: Patricia Collins. The most advantageous method of payment for the Government shall be used -- either IMPAC or through DFAS-Indianapolis. Identify any IMPAC fees on quotation. Invoices shall contain the information identified in FAR Clause 52.21 2-4(g). Only one copy of the invoice shall be submitted. Invoices may be faxed to (719) 526-5333, or emailed to Patricia.Collins@carson.army.mil. The contract specialist responsible for administering this order will contact the contractor to authorize a charge against the appropriate IMPAC Credit Card (if appropriate) so the verified invoice can be paid. Under no circumstances shall the contractor submit a charge against a previously identified IMPAC Credit Card without authorization from the contract s pecialist. Advance payment is authorized in accordance with AR 37-107. The provision at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, and FAR 52.212 -4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, are applicable to this solicitation. Offerors shall include with their offer a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Alt I Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items.
