This solicitation F33600-02-R-1003 has been uploaded to PIXS . The issue date is 03 DEC 2001 and the proposal due date is 20 DEC 2001. A reminder: Faxed proposals are NOT acceptable. Please submit quoted prices for each subscription title on the subscription list, which has been uploaded to PIXS with the solicitation....and be sure to insert your total proposed price on page 3 of the RFP. Also, award will be on an ALL or NONE basis (no split awards). This is a commercial solicitation for renewal of subscription services for the AFIT library at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The subscriptions are for scientific and technical publications, both domestic and foreign. There are over 500 titles. Copies shall be paper, unless specified otherwise. Subscription service will begin 01 January 2002, and continue for a full year. The contractor must provide Internet access to their database. Award will be on an ALL OR NONE basis (no split awards). Mr. Michael Higgins has been appointed as Ombudsman to hear concerns from offerors, or potential offerors, during the proposal development. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Existence of the Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer. Accordingly, the Ombudsman does not participate in the preparation of solicitations, the evaluation of proposals, or the source selection process and, therefore, for routine matters on individual solicitations, please contact the buyer at the telephone number listed herein. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiallity as to the source of the concern.
