Description

The 99th Contracting Squadron, 99 CONS/LGCB, Nellis AFB, NV intends to award a purchase order with a basic one year period and four option years to maintain the serviceability of all reusable surgical instruments utilized in the operation room at Mike O?Callaghan Federal Hospital. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811219 with a size standard of $5,000,000 annually. This solicitation is set aside for small business. A brief description of this requirement includes on-site sharpening, refurbishing, and maintenance of all reusable surgical instruments utilized in the operation room. The cost is to include all parts, labor, materials, and transportation necessary to perform this service. This acquisition will be accomplished as a commercial purchase in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12. All responsible contractors may submit a quote for consideration by the Air Force. Interested parties may download the solicitation from www.eps.gov. Subject solicitation is expected to be posted on or about 6 December 2001. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. When the solicitation is posted, it is imperative interested parties review this site frequently for any updates/amendments. By submission of an offer, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at www.ccr.gov prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any purchase order resulting from the solicitation. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Any small business with the capability to provide this service is encouraged to participate.
