Description

This is a synopsis for commercial service. This announcement constitutes the synopsis only. A written solicitation will be available on this web site on or about October 26, 2001. This procurement is restricted to 100% small business concerns with an annual income of $12 million or less. The solicitation document, which will be available on this web site, will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The NAICS code for this project is 561720. The contractor shall provide management, supervision, personnel, equipment, tools, supplies, labor, vehicles, transportation, and applicable licenses, permits and/or certificates necessary to perform custodial services in secured (classified areas), at various buildings at Kelly Field Annex, Air Intelligence Agency (AIA), at Lackland AFB, Texas. The anticipated period of Performance is 01 January 2002 through 30 September 2002 for the basic period plus four option years (1 Oct 2002 through 30 Sep 2003), (1 Oct 2003 through 30 Sep 2004), (1 Oct 2004 through 30 Sep2005), and (1 Oct 2005 through 30 Sep 2006). All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 & 252.232-7009. CCR can be obtained by accessing the internet or by calling 1-888-227-2423. CCR must be obtained before award can be made. Once contractors have received the full solicitation package, submit written offers by fax or by mail FAX #(210-671-5063) to: 37 CONS/LGCAA, ATTN: SUSAN EDWARDS, 1655 SELFRIDGE AVENUE, LACKLAND AFB, TX 78236-5253. The tentative due date for all quotes will be by November 19, 2001 by 4:00 PM CST. THE FIRM DATE FOR ALL QUOTES IS DECEMBER 14, 2001 by 4:00 PM CST. A one time only site visit is scheduled for AIA-Secured Areas for custodial services on December 7, 2001 at 9:00 AM CST.
