Description

The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, materials and supervision necessary to perform Solid Waste removal and disposal services at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Military Family Housing Complex, Shenandoah Woods located in Warminster, PA. It is the Government's intention to award a combination Firm-Fixed Price Type Indefinite Quantity type service contract. The performance period is for one year from date of award plus (4) four 12-month option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562212, Solid Waste Landfill. The size standard is $6.0M. This solicitation is un-restricted, open to both small and large business concerns. The availability of the solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium. Specifications WILL NOT be provided in a paper hard copy format or CD-ROM. The address for downloading this solicitation from the Internet is http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Downloading from the Internet is free of charge; however some specifications may take a considerable amount of time to download. All prospective quoters are required to register on the Naval Facilities Engineering Command ESOL website for this procurement WHEN specifications become available. An official planholder list will be maintained on and can be printed from the website. If you fail to register, the Government cannot be responsible for your being notified of any amendments to the solicitation. The solicitation will not be available until on or about 20 December, 2001. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the Internet. It is therefore the contractor?s responsibility to check the Internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. In addition, all contractors are required to register in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Failure to register in the CCR makes an offeror ineligible for award of DOD contracts.
